Bridget O'Hara

PARTNER - Solicitor in charge of conveyancing

Bridget qualified as a solicitor in 1999. With over twenty years of legal experience, she previously was a partner at another local firm in Poole before setting up O’Haras solicitors in 2006, with her sister Catherine. Bridget deals with all matters of conveyancing from Freehold sales and purchases to re-mortgages, lease extensions, option agreement and wills

Catherine Morton 

PARTNER - Solicitor in charge of Wills and Probate

Catherine qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and has worked in the Dorchester, Poole and Bournemouth area in the legal profession for over twenty years. She co-founded O’Haras Solicitors with Bridget and has over twenty years of experience in the legal sector. Catherine deals with all matters of conveyancing, equity release, wills and probate.

Emma Bryant

Conveyancing

Emma graduated from Bournemouth University with a 2:1 in Law in 2010. She joined O’Haras Solicitors in 2017 and completed her training contract in 2019. Since qualifying, Emma now has a vast case load of her own and deals with all matters in conveyancing – freehold and leasehold sales and purchases and shared ownership properties.

Dr. Jenny O’Hara

Conveyancing

After graduating from the University of Bristol where she completed a PhD, Jenny has followed the SQE route into law. She has been a part of the O’Haras Solicitors team since 2018 and now runs a successful caseload of her own as part of the conveyancing team dealing in both freehold and leasehold properties.

Helen Carlisle

Conveyancing

Helen qualified as a Legal Executive in 1998, having worked in Estate Agency and then conveyancing for many years. Helen started work at O’Haras Solicitors in 2019, after returning from a spell living abroad. Her work here involves raising initial enquiries when contracts first come in and assisting the fee earners throughout the process.

Mandy Bridle

Conveyancing

Mandy is a conveyancing assistant and has been working in the conveyancing sector since 1985 having worked with one firm of solicitors for 20 years. Mandy has been with O’Haras Solicitors since the business was set up in 2006 and consequently has a vast amount of experience in conveyancing. Among other things, Mandy’s area of speciality is once exchange of contracts has taken place, to ensure that everything runs smoothly for our Clients.

Sara Stephens

Conveyancing

Sara is an integral member of the support team involved in transactions both at the start of the process and the end. Joining O’Haras Solicitors in 2006 and over a decade working in the legal sector prior, Sara has a wealth of knowledge and experience in conveyancing.

Lucy Morton

Wills and Probate

Lucy graduated from Bournemouth University in 2010 and qualified as a solicitor in 2012. Lucy started work in child protection, education and adult social services before moving to O’Haras Solicitors in 2017. Lucy has over 5 years  of experience in the Wills and Probate department.
